Job Description:

· Provide field application technical support to automotive customers. Drive new opportunities and design in.

· Perform troubleshooting, application analysis and design optimization for customers, either independently or with the support from local and BU technical team.

· Provide on-site technical and application support to customers.

· Interface with ON Semiconductor design and development team on new product definitions and technology requirements.

• Create customer facing technical documents such as application notes, white papers, FAQ’s, product training, etc.

• Initiation and lead the development of reference designs and product or system solution demonstrators in cooperation with other application teams, within onsemi, or external 3rd parties.

• Perform trainings and workshops with OEM, Tier1 and distributor representatives.

• Contribute to China local thought leadership through customer POC and design-in project, conferences, trade fairs, articles, etc.

Job Requirement:

· At least 5 years (10 yrs+ preferred) of Tier1 or OEM R&D engineer experience in zonal or IVN (networking, gateway) software.

• Profound software system knowledge and working with microcontrollers, Ethernet firmware, Real- time Operating System, Higher-layer Protocols.

• General knowledge of Ethernet network systems, Ethernet switches and physical layer products configuration.

• *** experience in time synchronization, TSN protocols in Ethernet networks.

• Proven problem- solution capabilities.

• Talent to build strong relationships both to internal and external customers.

• Degree in Electronics, Communications, Computer Science, or similar.

• Fluent in English. Capable of working with international product team and project team.
