Job Summary

The Application Engineer acts as a technical liaison between the company and its customers, providing expertise in product application, system integration, and technical support. This role involves collaborating with sales, marketing, and R&D teams to deliver tailored solutions, optimize product performance, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support & Consultation

o Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers and internal teams

o Assist in assessing customer requirements and purpose suitable product solutions

• Application Development & Demonstration

o Develop reference designs, demo boards, and prototypes to showcase product capabilities

o Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers and FAEs

• Documentation & Communication

o Prepare technical documentation, including design guides, test reports, etc. for customers and FAEs

o Collaborate with marketing and NPD teams on new product definitions and validations

• System Integration & Testing

o Validate product performance in customer applications and troubleshoot technical issues.

o Perform lab evaluations, measurements, and simulations to ensure compliance with specifications

• Continuous Improvement

o Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance application solutions

o Participate in process optimization and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or an equivalent professional qualification

• Experience:

o At least 3 years proven experience in AE, FAE, server/computing product power engineer or equivalent professional qualification role.

o Familiarity with power electronics, multiphase buck, or semiconductor products (preferred for cloud/computing/client roles)

• Skills:

o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

o Proficiency in tools such as Simplis, Q3D, Mathcad, Orcad, Allegro or similar software

o Excellent communication and presentation skills in English

o Travel ( 10~25%) to meet with worldwide customers and field engineers

Preferred Attributes

• Knowledge of multi-phase DC/DC converters for Server or xPU application

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously
